Reel Festivals
Reel Festivals – a celebration of film, music and culture from areas in conflict

Thanks to Everyone Involved!

  • Published: May 30th, 2008

Reel Afghanistan is now finished and wrapped up for the year. First thing we’d like to do is offer a huge Thank You/Tashakor to all our guests, audience, volunteers and sponsors! Without you all none of this could have happened! The festival was a great success, with packed out screenings, exhibitions and masterclasses and some of the most incredible music performances I have ever had the chance to see. We will be uploading some pictures and audio/video from these over the next few weeks, please keep coming back to check. We’re now working on future festival ideas too, if you want to keep informed on these please just sign up to our mailing list. Also the key charity we were working with, Afghan Schools Trust, is going from strength to strength and is in the process of building a hostel for students in Kabul. For more information on this and their other projects please visit http://www.afghanschools.org/

If you’d like to get in touch with us about any aspect of the festival or with any ideas for future projects please just email us on info@reelafghanistan.org

Until the next time, khuda hafez!
