Farida and the Iraqi Maqam Ensemble will perform their Scottish debut alongside the Babylon Arabic Band as part of Reel Iraq at the Roxy Art House.

Reel Iraq Talks and Discussion Information

As part of this years festival we’re thrilled to announce a series of lectures, master classes, lectures, panel discussions and a symposium which will offer dialogue and discussion between cultural producers and scholars on the theme of “Iraq, Resistance, Memory”.

These various talks will cover a diverse range of topics from protecting Iraqi heritage, to discussion of early Iraqi civilisation, to modern Iraqi culture.
