There’s going to be a series of really interesting writers events this year, with Iraqi writers doing a series of readings at the McDonald Road Library on 19/05/09 and the Forest Cafe on 20/05/09.

Announcing Reel Festivals “Reel Iraq”

Reel Festivals is proud to present Reel Iraq, a festival of Iraqi Music, Cinema and Art to be held in Edinburgh in May, 2009.

The festival is scheduled for May 2009 with films screening from the 14th to the 24th of May, along with a variety of other events during the course of the month.
