Malu Halasa is co-curator of Culture in Defiance Exhibition: Continuing Traditions of Satire, Art and the Struggle for Freedom for Syria at the Prince Claus Fund Gallery, Amsterdam, until 23 November 2012. Her books include The Secret Life of Syrian Lingerie (with Rana Salam) and Transit Tehran (with Maziar Bahari).
